You make it sound as if black people have tons of options in hollywood.

Naive much?

I'm still waiting for Nollywood and Black Hollywood to get it in ....... not even sure what the wait is..... everything is there, just a matter of doing it.

Where is Spike? Where is Will? Where is etc etc etc.

Can Denzel play an AA businessman going to West Africa and [fill in the plot] from there??? From my non-industry perspective, the raw meat is there, just a matter of putting it on the grill.

Think about the fact that even Black American movies, never even mention Africa or have a scene in Africa. It boggles my mind at this point. :yeshrug:

what the fukk is your nikka's infatuation with nollywood :scusthov:, all they produce is trash drama movies

Well i'm looking at from two perspectives:
1) One is Black Hollywood having a 2nd outlet beyond Hollywood to make money, be seen by a different potentail viewership through film production collaborations.
2) Is the African Diaspora seeing itself on film together, telling fiction and non-fiction stories, that Hollywood will not tell. For what its worth its a great medium to showcase the diversity but also commonalities.

Nollywood doesn't have all that Hollywood or other countries with more capital have , but that just means the opportunity to improve it is there.
