I could see that. People always trying to "use him" get on streams, so i can see why he's like that as well.

I don't see what one has to do with the other. He's popular by himself sure. But having a guy like Kevin Hart come on his show is beneficial because it gives him legitimacy in the mainstream media. That's how he ends up streaming at some award show. It gives KH a younger audience. It's not always that symbiotic, but he does get something out of having people on the show. It's not as if he's doing it out of charity.

But acting like he doesn't know people that he does in fact know, that's just a flex in his mind, IMO. I don't know why he feels that way. Whatever it is about his psychological make up, or whether it's some sort of strategy him and his team came up with, I don't know.

I was leaning towards thinking Deon Cole was overreacting. It's on the arrogant side of things to expect people to just know you.

However listening to what he said, it's more a matter of his demeanour rubbing him off the wrong way. I saw the exchange and it's like he made a point of having a delayed acknowledgement. If that is paired with him continuously making a point of showing he doesn't know people, then he is in need of a clip around the ears.
