The dissension over Washington's starting quarterback got bad enough that DeSean Jackson had to address the locker room, the wide receiver claims. Jackson said on Fox NFL Sunday he stood and spoke in front of the team after Robert Griffin IIIwas named the starting quarterback over Colt McCoy last week.


"You kind of feel guys feeling a certain way about that," Jackson said about the quarterback change. "In the locker room I had to stand up and say something about that, like as players that's not our job. We can't worry about that. The only thing we can worry about is going out on Sundays and putting your best foot forward."


Rumors emerged last week that the locker room was torn over the decision to start RGIII, who returned from an injury absence despite a strong game from McCoy the week previous. Washington lost to the Minnesota Vikings, 29-26, with Griffin going 18-of-28 for 251 yards, one touchdown and one interception.
