I notice i gravitate more to raps that use the inner root sounds (vowels) instead of rhyming The whole word

I mean like (dumb rhyme bear with me)

Most people wouod rhyme the whole words as in ready/deadly, are/stars

I notice lately i fukked with artists that rhyne the root sounds instead

“Are you ready”
A ooh eh ee

Which opens up way more ways to rhyme and catches the ear cuz you rhyming words that aint sposed to rhyme in a traditional sens but do in their own way. P did this a lot but was more lax on making it thyme at all.


And the reason those catch people the most is cause theyre the Most used sounds in the language

Assonance is great! Low-key will catch flack for this, but Eminem is really great at that shyt (his flow and delivery just sucks now)
