What's really going on here is this:

When a game I like has a high metacritic score, metacritic is king

When a game I like has a low metacritic score, metacritic is trash.

We see this in every game thread. Nothing new

yep. I see people toting out the nice metacritic scores on games they like that score well and then trashing metacritic and reviewers, in general, when a game they like gets low scores.
Not saying this is you, but I do see this on the board.

Everybody hates metacritic, but then uses metacritic when it suits their needs. shyt is inconsistent as fukk.

At least I stand by my 85+ strategy

destiny seems to be in that transformers(movies), cod lane.

Where if you went by people online youd swear it was the worst game ever and nobody plays it.

Meanwhile the fan base appears to love it.


Reviews are basically meaningless conjecture and can be influenced by so many factors. I dont trust reviews that blatantly lie and grade studios on a curve.

Bethesda releases bug filled messes with shytty combat yet it isnt held against the games they release. Meanwhile other games get their scores destroyed for having the same problems.

They tried to do Destiny dirty. Reviewers felt betrayed Bungie would even dare make a game for other platforms not named Xbox but Bungie stuck to their guns anyway. In hindsight, it's hilarious how Destiny is the better game than Halo after all. I mean Halo is pretty much done.

On some real shyt tho, this is my problem with nikkas using metacritic. nikkas use it as a tool to push agendas. Part of the reason I don't fukk with it.

The other half is because I don't fukk with review scores.

The coli is the only place where people hate scandal...Olivia's father hasn't taken an L yet, and sonned so many people on this show.

Millions of people might watch a movie cause it has a great trailer only to be disappointed with the real movie. If a movie is a bust then it goes to dvd and gets wack sales. With destiny it did mad numbers but thing is it's still top 10 games being streamed on twitch mad ppl are still always on this heavy. If people didn't like it they wouldn't keep playing it. Numbers don't mean it's good but all these people wouldn't be on it day after day if it was wack. Not something I can play tho . fukk I look like shooting the same nikkas 3 hours so I can find some gloves
