Why do nikkas still play such a "mediocre" game?? It's been MONTHS since it released and my friends list is chock full of cats playing this title. It can't be because of a lack of games as several high profile games have come out since and it's still being played heavily.

Despite having only a mid 70's score, it has amassed more playtime from players then other higher rated titles such as Larryfall.

Destiny basically is the type of game where despite it having issues you can talk about, it's still fukking fun. I know so because I jumped back on recently and it's just as fun as I remembered. Destiny is basically why reviews don't matter. It's still stickied while another shooter was recently let go from the sticky.

That's what I"m saying though. The criticisms levied at it were on the "Oh it's going to be dropped asap once _____ comes out" tip or w/e but months later it's still the most played game on consoles lately. The issues it has hasn't stopped people from playing it. Even me I stopped for a while then I jumped back on. I can talk for days about the issues I have with it but when I'm playing it, it's just fukking fun .

Meanwhile other games with much higher scores and less "issues' so to speak are boring.

Well most reviews readily admitted that the gameplay was "fun".

That was never even a point of contention. But when it comes down to assigning a score in comparison to other games merely being "fun" isn't enough. There's a lot more to be considered. Its not far fetched to see a game many people would consider to be less "fun" get higher scores.

They tried to do Destiny dirty. Reviewers felt betrayed Bungie would even dare make a game for other platforms not named Xbox but Bungie stuck to their guns anyway. In hindsight, it's hilarious how Destiny is the better game than Halo after all. I mean Halo is pretty much done.

This mmo with guns. People still play borderlands and its no where near as grind based.

The game over all isn't good nor complete, talking about "beat testing" I'll give destiny about 2 years and if its still around I'll give it a shot if it isn't just dlc dungeon add on after dlc dungeon add on.

edit: I shouldn't say good, it isn't too great. It's entertaining and if you get caught up in the grind then it can be addicting.
