Yep...every item you get from end game activities (trials, nightfall from both crucible and pve) drop gear above your current light level. Exotic engrams do as well.
When I did the raid 3 times after the April update...I was 330 on all characters and I've literally ran out of things to infuse cause infusing is 1:1

Damn, so if you have something that's 330 and infuse into something that's 305 it now goes straight to 330?

Yep. Strike exclusive gear and weapons drop at your light level or higher. prison of elders gear as well. Factions drop gear up to 330 too. The grind is not nearly as steep. I liked what they did.

The leveling system now doesn't require you to touch the raid at all to hit 335. I come back cause crucible is just still fun
Its 2016 going into 2017...if they don't have 60fps I'd be extremely disappointed
