I haven't dug into all of the new content yet. Haven't even finished the main new quest line, but with the strikes, new raid, and new patrol activities... there should be plenty of them.

Actually, there is way more boss variation now in The Taken King. The new Strikes all have brought new strats to the game that we didn't see in Year 1. Bungie really did great job at taking the player feedback and improving the game immensely. Anybody who is worried about the game's content... shouldn't. There's a shyt load of stuff to do.
I haven't even signed in to my other characters cause I'm just digging into everything with my Hunter

There's a shytload of things to do though.
no...whatever the highest exp level you were before taken king, is the level you start at in taken king....then there are 2 different levels: exp and power.....you exp level is capped at 40 and you get there by just playing the game, gaining experience....your power level is determined by your gear (armor, weapons, shell, class item, etc.)...this determines how strong you are and how effective you will be in missions....that is how the game shouldve been from the beginning, glad bungie finally fixed it...
- more variety to gear, weapons, missions, boss battles, etc
- streamlined the upgrade system...hell, the overall experience
- more shyt to do overall (quests, hidden/unlocking things, etc.)
- improved the other shyt to make it up to par with the gameplay/graphics/sound, which were already top notch
...that's not everything, but the shyt off the top of my head...
like i said in that thread about whether or not a gen defining game has dropped yet: yes, it has, and that game is destiny....yea, a lot of the criticisms made about the original game were correct, but that was shyt bungie could work on, which they have....they made the other shyt in the game match the gameplay/graphics/sound which were top notch from the beginning....
