You tripping this game isn't gonna be like Titanfall where it's limited from selling as much as it can due to the amount of platforms its on. This is on both PS4 and XB1 as well as PS3/360. I cannot see this game flopping at all. If you haven't played it yet(and I mean play, not watching) then you just might not get why some people are hyped about it. It's much more ambitious than Titanfall where in even though TF may have been amazing to some, it was always going to be limited by how much content it had whereas this game has A HELL of a lot more to do in it.
Lol random titanfall mention, I mean I know I play Xbox but I'm not meach or court. I grew up playing PlayStation so I respect the company and I'm aware of the 10 year development Activision & bingos is planning. It'll definitely recoup on a sequel but I honestly don't see this game selling over 10 mil on the first game. The game looks good but I think gamers these days have ADHD but hopefully bungie does #'s.
It's a possibility though. $500 Million was spent to produce the game. It's gonna have to sell like hot cakes for Activision to break even.
The $500 million is towards the series so I'm not assuming it will do $500 million in sales off it's first release unless it becomes a word of mouth thing. It may be able to sell a lot though with marketing.
When does this drop again? The best of e3 was a good look tho

some ps2 were supported up until 2013, i doubt they're cutting off their main consumer base by the end of this year. xbox 360/ps3 will probably have another 1-2 good yrs
It was 10 years? They'll def make that shyt back. And I'm sure Destiny isn't the only game they are working on.

What you have to realize is internet forum gamers talk like they know the ins and outs of videogames
So they'll make up stuff like "If its on last gen then the current gen suffers" which is total fabrication
That "could" happen if you have a small studio doing a ton of games. Titanfall comes to mind, but they outsourced for last gen because they couldn't handle it themselves
But then a game like BF4 looks incredible on next gen, and ass on last gen.
Nobody talks much about that. Or they'll say "Well, EA was lazy on the last gen systems then"
Gamers online totally ignore reality bruh. Destiny was destined to be garbage because the general consensus was that Halo has peaked
So making a new game could have been a good thing for Bungie, it also could be a bad thing
Sony gamers lacking Bungie games put too much faith in this title.
You don't see Xbox gamers putting the same type of faith into sunset overdrive.
The WORLD recognizes it for what it appears to be. But Xbox gamers were not pre-crowning it GOAT
Even with negative reviews, sony gamers still are clining to the "hope" that Destiny is this AAA title

Sony had to start grouping up PS2 sales with PS3 to fool investors (you) into not panicking.
Sony never revealed how many PS2's ultimately contributed to the final PS3's sold figures
