Elfrid really isn't that good breh
Yes he is. All he has to do is develop a decent jumper. He looks like the best pg in his draft so far. The jury's still out on Smart

But payton is a good passer, good vision, very few mistakes, disruptive defensively. Rebounds well, if he gets a decent jumper he can be better than his comparison who is Rondo

The questions is...who is going to teach these guys how to win...

Because in the nba you don't go from worst to first...

You don't just magically start winning games out of thin air...

You need veteran players...76ers don't have any...

You need a veteran coaching staff with a history of winning...76ers don't have any...

3 years into tanking and they got...

1 big man who has proven he can at least be an nba player...

1 big man who has proven he is an injury risk and hasn't played one minute of nba basketball...

1 big man who threw his jersey down in such disgust after he was drafted you would have thought it was a pregnancy test his jumpoff handed to him just as he was about to leave to propose to his main chick...

So to me...it doesn't seem like this team is every going to start winning...because the players don't know how...they been a part of the tank to long...and the coaches don't know how...they been a part of the tank to long

So at best you looking at 3 big guys who might be pretty good...who have done nothing but lose since they got in the nba...

Bonus "your fukking fukked" points if Embiid turns out to be Greg Oden's spirit animal because then Okafor absolutely HAS to be at least a star level player or they just completely wasted one of their tank years...

Half a bonus "you still fukked" point if all 3 big men turn out to be really good and you have to trade one but you get pennies on the dollar because every team knows you have to trade one...otherwise he just walks in free agency for nothing...

Hinkie is like Morey except Morey actually tries to get real NBA players with a proven track record of ability and effectiveness...

Hinkie is just picking the tallest guy available e years in a row...

Who is the 76ers big man coach?

Do they even have one?

TYRONE GA!
maybe? but 3 great drafts in a row are RARE. talent doesn't come into the league in drips. it usually comes in waves.

just look at how talent concentrates in high school classes over the last decade:

2002: Melo, Bosh, Amare
2003: LeBron, CP3
2004: Dwight, Aldridge
2005: no "stars"
2006: Durant, Westbrook, Curry
2007: Rose, Griffin, Harden, Love
2008: George (stayed 2 years), Klay (stayed 3 years), Lillard (stayed 4 years)
2009: Wall, Cousins
2010: Irving
2011: Davis
2012: no "stars"

2006 and 2007 were probably the 2 best years of the last decade when it comes to producing superstar level talent. 2002-2004 were also great in producing SUPERSTAR talent. 2008 was average. 2005 and 2012 have been terrible. 2009, 2010, 2011 have been below average.

I think 2013 and 2014 are gonna be like 2006 and 2007. Wiggins, Parker, and Randle will be stars from the 2013 class. and Towns, Okafor, Russell, and Mudiay will be stars from the 2014 class.
:wtf: you trollin with that list of players and years.

Or keep tanking and be like Orlando or Sacramento.

2015 draft:
3 centers
1 power forward
1 shooting guard

:snoop:

Orlando lowkey has a core, they just need a defensive 4 to be future contenders. While Sacramento has had awful management and ownership. Where's all the outrage directed to the T-Wolves, who have been a 30 win team for damn near a decade?
