For real tho, I'm Mexican but I always had the "black" .... State of mind..? Cloths, movies, music... Anything. I went to a 60% black 20% white 10% other school and used nikka. Used it at the barber shop... Anywhere. Never had a problem.... But my white boy used it and this Blake chick smacked his ass up.... Lmfao and every time he said it, around a few of our boys they would just clown him... He knew not to use it in the hood n ish tho.....

His mom re married into that dark chocolate tho:yeshrug:

The D (where it's so cold)
If this article came out prior to Riley Cooper's N bomb this would have been enlightening. As many have pointed out context is everything in this blog/article, Delmas and Sheff are friends, good friends how they choose to interact is their business. It does go to show that friendship goes beyond race as do words. The problem is Terry left this open ended and for the readers to judge this, so I can completely see people reading into this as another example of white people trying to justify their use of the n words as much as I can see a white guy and a black guy tossing around slurs and not be labeled racist. But just because this happens in a Lions lockerroom doesn't mean in the norm in society if Terry wrote this to "educate" he failed miserably.

I heard Terry talk about it on the show yesterday, thats how I heard about. I didnt get a chance to catch his thoughts on it though. But I can see him leaning towards the....

"Black folk need to stop saying it because it leads to making it acceptable for the Riley Cooper's & the Paula Deen's to say it."

Terry Foster is one of them stuck in the 60s Detroit cats who always bring up race and 97.1 is all about race baiting anyway. The morning show and Valenti and Foster STAY bringing up race issues and with HORRIBLE point counterpoint, and most counterpoint is Terry agreeing with Mike :comeon:

Sometimes I wonder if I'll ever live in a world where it's no longer a topic without it being an everyday word at the same time.
