No, I'm caping for journalism which is what i do for a living lol. So fall back with that shyt. There's no rule or standard that says there has to be a 50/50 split on reviews positive and negative. Are there badly written reviews of this movie? Hell yes. And there are criticisms that don't quite make sense, but that doesn't mean that they're all terrible or not well thought out or valid. I don't understand the need to complain about the reviews if YOU liked the movie or loved the movie. Who cares at that point? Deep down, as much as I have watched Marvel and DC movies unbiased, Marvel deep down is scared of competition being developed and forced to step their game wayyyyy up. BvS is the second film of the DCEU, and they (the bribed critics) are doing anything they can to prevent a legit Superhero universe from challenging Marvel in quality. The Marvel films, for so long, had no competition and their quality goes from to , and it's not consistent. The reason why I used to support them blindly is because, for so long, comic book films were considered a joke back in the 90s.

Now, in the eve of Captain America: CW, the third and final Cap film of the series, Marvel knows that they have to deliver on that level or higher from now on. They know with Suicide Squad, Wonder Woman, The Batman, and so on in the horizon, a half assed effort can't be protected, not even from the fanboys and critics. Look what happened to Marvel when DC came in the animated DVD game and quality came in....

Marvel is scared of that situation happening to their bread and butter called the MCU that brings in hundreds of millions of dollars per year. Only time will tell that DC will come in and start to deliver quality like their animated DVDs.

Take a look at the other sites who have reviewed Civil War so far and given it a positive review. IGN, Uproxx, etc.. these are sites that wouldn't exist if they couldn't gain exclusive access to Disney properties. They need to get scoops on Star Wars and all that shyt or nobody is going to read them. So of course Star Wars when it comes out whether it's a remake of A New Hope or not is going to get a positive review.. it they trash Disney too much "oops.." their passes are lost in the mail. No more exclusive interviews.

He got in his feelings because i disagreed that there needs to be some sort of equal amount of positive and negative reviews for movies and rather than actually have a conversation with me about it, he got in his feelings and decided to show his age. Somehow me saying that film critics aren't obliged to make sure theres an even split between good reviews and bad reviews means i work for someone.

But that's not the job of a reviewer or a film critic community. It's not a political system or a news organization that's job is to be fair and balanced. There were plenty of good reviews of the movie but the overwhelming majority were negative. They don't all come together and say "okay, let's put some good ones out there to be fair and balanced" Does that mean that there aren't cats who are moved in one direction due to supposed peer pressure? Of course not and I'm sure that's happened every now and then and I've heard evidence of it happening. But your job as a critic is to be explain why something worked for you or didn't, not to make sure that there's enough positive to go around with your negative

All good b..I think critics have a certain bias against directors and Zach Snyder is one of them..I think it's less about DC and more to do with Snyder, I really think SS will get good reviews
