TMZ ain't that sloppy.....either dudes were racing and tryna cover themselves now, or their witnesses for some reason all came together to straight-up lie to them....in which case they take a huge L for a false accusation

1. People in sports cars drive fast. That's probably why they was moving quick.

2. Witnesses stay on some bullshyt. The cops ain't in the business of covering up evidence so Imma go with them on this one. They arrested Golden Tate for stealing donuts. They ain't gonna let Fred go for drag racing.

3. TMZ has been proven to throw shyt out for clicks. They ain't journalists even though they like to pretend they are.
