it was the wrong call dipshyt. #1 cowboys hater stephen a smith even admitted it. you look like a troll trying to claim it wasn't. just keep it 1hunnid, packers moving on regardless.

How is it the wrong call? I dont make these dumb fukk rules. Is it dumb? yes, but dont act like that one play is the reason why ya'll lost.

what rule are you referring to?

8.1.3 says that once he makes a football move it is considered a completed pass.

you realize that rule above takes precedences over the CJ rule? dez reaching for the goalline is a football move.

there is no guarantee we would have won the game but we were robbed of a goat moment and goat ending.

Dez makes an extension for the goalline at the end which is a football move. If you disagree fine but a shytload of people are on the other side which makes this whole debate inconclusive....call stands.

But it doesn't, cause it didn't.

This argument will be back and forth for eternity because Dallas fans wont ever own up to it, and I understand.

With all that being said, no guarantee you win that game anyway, what's stopping Rodgers from going right back down there and scoring?

lol at it just being dallas fans. are you kidding me? the majority of nfl fans/analysts believe it was a catch.

the other side is full of eagles, giants, skins, texans, and lions fans who have an intense hatred for dallas. i already know must if not all of them are trolling.

with this much debate you stay with the call on the field. give us a goat ending, instead the focus is on the damn refs. dilfer is right, the product sucks b/c of this.

50/50 we still lose but at least i get to see a defense that has come up with timely stops all season long get an opportunity to do it with the momentum on their side. fuk the nfl.

Honestly, first thing I thought immediately was incomplete.

Not even hating on Dallas like that cause I don't like GB either.

I thought it was fairly obvious.

On top of that, it was the same situation last week a call saved your ass. so this wek a call hurt it. That's the game, in both games it didn't decide the game

I've watched this play over and over and over again, even though I know I didn't know I need too.

He caught the ball, had one foot down, put a second foot down, and used a third, in order to lunge towards the endzone, which in my estimation, constitutes a catch. I also, believe the rule is idiotic, egregious and should be changed immediately. The fact that the NFL can allow this rule to still exist is a crime in itself.

That being said....

I DON'T CARE :umad:

The rule has been that way for going on 5 years, if Dez doesn't know that, shame on him. He should've exhibited the body control to turn on his back and secure the catch and we would not be engaging in this conversation. And lets not act like there wasn't plenty of time for the BAaaaAaAAAAaaaad man that he is, Aaron Rogers to drive down the field and and get at least a field goal on that mediocre defense. It would be sacrilegious, down right BLASPHEMOUS, to think that the cowboys had even the slightest chance of stopping Aaron Rodgers after that point.

why do people continue to make that comparison. lions are mental midgets, perennial losers, listen to the soundfx of that game...they checked out after that play despite still having multiple opportunities to win the game.

this happened with half the time left on the clock. this also happened while we were down, the lions were still up in that game.

you muthafukin cowboy fans are so arrogant that you go crazy days after the game is over !

It's OVER you LOST, shut the fukk up and respect the team that beat you..... The arrogance and "how dare them" attitude is the reason nobody gives a fukk about your pain :russ:

I'm starting to see where people can make an argument for it being a catch with the whole "making a football move" part. At first I didn't think you could clearly say he was making a football move, because the entire time he's falling and it's hard to determine intent, even though it looked like he was reaching forward with the ball. But now I'm seeing on the third foot down that he makes a hard push off that left leg. I'm starting to lean on the side that believes Dez made a football move with the third foot down, paying attention to the push of the leg and not the reaching forward with the ball.

However, I don't understand when people are saying he took three steps. If you jump up to make a catch, land on two feet, and take a step, nobody is going to say you took three steps. Those first two steps he took are the process of coming down to catch the ball. Still, up to about ten minutes ago I wasn't entertaining it being a catch based on the rules because I didn't think you could definitively state that Dez was making a football move, but now I'm starting to see why people feel so strongly otherwise.

Hate to keep harping on this, but the inconsistencies by the league are what's disturbing.

This is a must watch
