Did 2000-2003 still feel like the late 90s to anyone else??

Looking back we still had a lot of 90s leftovers (Shows,pop culture etc...) but with a slight modern update. Did it feel that way to anyone else??

By then, Tupac, Biggie and Pun were dead and George Bush and his team sent us on a decade long war.
Wasn't nothing about the early 2000s like the 1990s.
