Garbage Pail Kids. Cosby Show and Married With Children. Figuring out the VCR. A microwave was futuristic shyt. Cassette tapes > vinyl (cds is for rich people). Every Black household had Ebony, Jet and maybe a TV Guide on the coffee table. And Ronald Regan was the president of the decade.

Yeah, I barely remember shyt in the 80s. Studying it, yeah it seemed fly, but unless you were born in 1980 you really didn't get to experience the 80s. And by the time we were of age we got 9/11 and multiple recessions. 80s babies probably had the highest hopes for life most of us won't ever get to experience.
