i prefer the original but lets not act like jay didnt do the cut smarter and better from a commercial stand point he swung for the fence and connected..had pac lived Jay would have signed him to def jam and became his boss like he did nauze![]()

I agree 100% it was a soulless version radio inspired single.i never played that shyt but still a genius a flip on Jay part.jesus christ
naw, i always fukked with pac's version more and when i heard this version it was corny to me then and it's corny to me now. not horrible or anythin', just rather corny and seemed like a rather uninspirin' remake![]()
agreed..that's why I never understood the faux outrage it was a clear flip to a his/her based radio cut it was never in competition or comparison with the grimey original.That was the point - . . . by design
