he will play up his value, win a ring and another team with space will sign him to get him away from golden state. i dont think he will get a max, but he def didnt make a move that puts him out the league or so call black balled himself, if anything him on a huge stage playing well for a ring increases his value immensely.

He's 27 years old, so a decade minimum is a stretch. But he's good for at least one more max deal if he's even 75% of his previous level. Dudes seem to forget players like Mike Conley have signed max deals. I don't believe for a second this was the only offer he received, he's just trying to cover his own ass for going and ring chasing for a season before he goes after big money on a garbage team.

Yea those are drastically different things. Either no one's gona want him, or the clear cut best team in the league who doesn't need him at all and has no reason to risk team chemistry will keep him for the long term. Doesn't quite add up.

he's not going to be able to get the chance to be a 20/10 guy. One he is coming off a huge injury and two he will be the 4th best option on the team. Curry, Durant, Klay ain't sacrificing their shots that's for sure, unless they miss a huge portion of the season. And Green has excellent chemistry and is great assist man off the post and the point. So where is Cousin going to get 20/10 from?
