Who is saying that?! :wtf:

Nobody's not say that, but we were just acknowledging that even some fans are tired of the same ol' sh_t in every WM season that some people even booed when he mentioned beating Roman Reigns. Nobody said anything to that nature. You know what IS funny though? People acting like those boos last night didn't happen and the ones who acknowledged the boos happened made excuses saying, "Oh well maybe they were booing Roman Reigns' name." or "Maybe all of them were women and children because that's all the fans Roman Reigns has" (which is bullsh_t as well).

Nah, you're right Bryan definitely got booed and anyone denying it is just naive... But people acting like it's some sort of victory need to chill because it won't sustain. I think both sides are being extreme. Reigns will not get booed to the degree he was at the Rumble and people aren't going to boo Bryan on a weekly basis. Both guys are going to be over in the long run..I think people are forgetting that a lot of people like both Reigns and Bryan and don't really care about who wins or loses.

Also, the majority of Bryan fans don't care if he main events or not.. They just want him to be treated like a main eventer. I was pissed about the Rumble, not because Bryan lost, but because he was treated like Stardust. They've re-directed course and now Bryan is treated like a star so I'm perfectly fine with him losing to Reigns. In fact, I'm rooting for Reigns to win because it makes the most sense. I'm just saying that people who act like it's main event or bust for Bryan fans are being obtuse on purpose, we just want him to be treated as a top guy and not some midcarder.

I think some people legit don't want to see Bryan headline Mania again and some people legit don't want Reigns to headline WM.

It's definitely an interesting dynamic, but Reigns is the man they'll be going with we all know this, but at least they're acknowledging Bryan's support.
THIS...

People seem to forget that the fans who only care about mic skills hate guys like Bryan AND Reigns...

On the forums it appears to me that the most vocal Bryan detractors are the hardcore Wyatt,Punk marks, and the Orton,HHH marks.

I'm not suprised Bryan got some boos...hell even when he was giving his "I have to go get neck surgery" speech there were some dudes booing him. Reigns will most likely get decent reactions in all the cities outside of the Northeast. Northeast tends to have more rowdier male smark fans.

Sounds about right...they're jealous that Bryan got so over that fans took over PPVs and shows to support. Something they never did for Punk or anyone else in recent memory.

Man, I've said this in the past but it's amazing how D-Bry bring the worse arguments and discussions out of people. No matter if it's pro-DB, anti-DB or whatever, shyt always ends with people taking 1 post and making it seem like everyone is like that, or having to throw other wrestlers down to big up on Bryan :scust:

We didn't have any of this nonsense when he was on the sidelines. Now he comes back and we are right back to August 13'-April 14' levels :why: :bryan:

It's not about it being a victory. It's about people acknowledging that Roman was (and still is, albeit more mixed reaction) over, something that many had been trying to deny even before the Rumble. There had been reports about last weeks house shows and Roman was apparently not getting booed at any of them. HHH confirmed it last night.

Ultimately, it seems Iike the audience is going to be more split than anyone expected, me included.

On unbias tip though, this doesn't make Roman nor Daniel Bryan look good at all.

How so, breh?
I personally think last night was the best Roman had looked in awhile. That pop at the end was huge.
He was a tweener and the fans got behind him after he took out Seth, Show, and J&J.
There was no more looney toons jokes. Dude looked serious and like a legit threat.
It definitely makes Bryan look funny in the light because he's encroaching on a title shot that Reigns kayfabe earned.
Thing is, they likely want fans to become apprehensive towards Daniel.
The idea behind isn't to make Bryan look good, imo. Theyre tying to Roman Reigns over, not Bryan.
This angle is likley to make fans sympathize towards Rome potentially losing a title match he earned and give his character a reason to show some edge; to win over fans.
And if that's the play? So far, so good, because by the end of RAW, the majority of those fans were behind him.

On another note, I really hope Reigns succeeds if they keep booking him like this.
Money angle a couple of years from now.
Watched the Raw before WM 2001 on the Network today. As we all know, Austin aligned himself with Vince to screw Rock, who had overtaken Austin in popularity at that point.
He did it to keep his spot on top of the mountain. He was desperate and didn't want to step aside.
WWE loves recycling angles.
Remember when Hunter called Cena "the past" last Friday?
Reigns gets over huge with this anti-hero gimmick, spearing heels and faces alike, all while giving the Authority the finger.
A stark departure from the cookie cutter, "Loyalty, Hustle, and Respect."
Takes all the women and children.
The merch sales. Already has his face all over adverts and the Raw intro where John's would be.
Will probably have the cover of next year's WWE 2K16 videogame.
John knows it. Listen to his promos.
He legit knows his time is coming.
Story wise, Cena will get desperate and he finally caves in to turn heel and ally himself with the Authority as the corporate champ.
Would also be his record setting title reign, beating out Flair, iirc.
John would obviously go out on his back at WM after months of Reigns chasing and Roman would officially be top dog.
Reigns has to get over big for Vince to agree to turn Cena heel, but smark and casual alike would eat it alive.

Both these fakkits would look silly at WM in the ring against the champ Barack Lesnar
