According to the album credits, Dre mixed Sherane, bytch Don't Kill My Vibe, Poetic Justice, good kid, Swimming Pools, Real, Compton, The Recipe, and Now or Never.

You can tell Dre mixed those tracks just by how hard-hitting they sound.

dre deserves credit for GKMC

all you have to do is look at Section 80 compared to his reatil debut

while Section 80 is a great collection of songs its not as a cohesive product

dre is a master of shapin albums epescially debut's that set up the careers of artist

he really is like a great director.. yeah leo is a great actor in his own right but scorcese elevted him with his direction

thats how i look @ dre... EM/Snoop/kendrick are great TALENTS but they become even better with right direction that allows there strengths to be highlited

I disagree about the Section.80 comment, I do think that album was cohesive. I think GKMC is just even more cohesive, making Section.80 pale in comparison.

I agree with everything else though. That's why Dre's the GOAT producer, to me. He's a producer in the classic sense of the word - even if he isn't making the beats, he's still making sure the album comes together the way it should. The Scorsese comparison is superb.

Dude's the producer behind like five 5-mic albums, back when the 5-mic system meant something. Straight Outta Compton, Doggystyle, D.O.C.'s No One Can Do It Better, The Chronic, Chronic 2001. That's even missing albums like Marshall Mathers LP (exec. produce), Get Rich Or Die Tryin', GKMC, etc.

In my opinion, Dr. Dre's presence is even more apparent when he isn't there. Look at how badly 50 Cent's albums fell off; Dre executive produced GRODT and The Massacre, and after that, 50's career declined as far as full-length albums. Dre hadn't produced a Snoop record since 2000, and when he came back into the fold, Blue Carpet Treatment was Snoop's best album in years.

Whether he's mixing, making beats, or just overseeing the project, Dre's got a pretty high percentage from the field.
