If I remember correctly, He came out ON the album in the credits or some shyt, I remember that day, it was everywhere. People close to him were congratulating him for his bravery and shyt.

Ain't been the same since.

I ain't NEVER heard Females bring Frank ocean up IRL either (heard them bring up other lesser known dudes like Brent.)..just Dudes.

Didn't help that:

• He played the labels and while admirable stupid as hell
• Came out at the wrong time (heads were still thinking straight no pun)
• Almost got that wig push back with Bris Brown goons
• Blonde and that other album was forgettable compare to Nostalgia and Channel Orange
• He got tainted with the Odd Future funk (if its not Tyler, you aren't eating like you should)

Bottom line, dude peaked too early and probably just out the game like countless others during that majestic stretch of music
