I still play nights, Godspeed, self control, and pink white still get spins regularly from me. I see what you're saying, though.. I only hear people talk about nights or I'll see the occasional song cover of (solo or white Farrari) but I think certain variables come into play that really impact the albums presence.
Blonde isn't nearly as commercial or "mainstream" as CO. CO is much easily digestible for mainstream audiences to latch onto..more accessible. Blonde, on the other hand take a much more meditative approach ..abstract, in a sense where it's more polarizing despite showing immense growth and smart, compelling storytelling..
Along with the fact that the dude became even a bigger hermit post '12 ..no promo, along with his recent independent = no resources to market his brand.
Ironically it's impressive that he's seen such success and profited, while stabalizing after over a month later, given his circumstances..
