Nasir might be up to his old tricks :ehh:

quite a few of these bars sound straight out of Act II:

[Verse 1: Nas]
A divine leader, shine brighter

Bonita mami, meet a line sniffer

Never, poetic rhyme writer, chiefer
Ebony empress getter

Celebrity Apprentice a devil show

Big up to Africa, Mexico

Who put Nas onto that devil shyt...oh yeah Jay Electronica :mjpls:

[Verse 2: Nas]

Still underestimated, every mistake a lesson

Mercury retrograde, so if that planet spin backwards

Up in the heavens maybe

It's effectin' back on nikkas who don't be reppin' lately

I'm playin' chess with babies

Is this the real reason why Act II isn't out? Nas, and possibly Jay z, have been taking so many of Jay elec's rhymes that he's running out of material
Drake/QM/PND situation here brehs? :jbhmm:

According to jokers this site, if you once used a writer, you never wrote shyt or in best case scenario there's an extremely high probability that anything dope you put out was by another writer.

When did Jay Electronica write for Nas? I know he did the beat for ''Queens Get The Money"?
it's common knowledge he also wrote queens get the money for Nas
possibly other tracks on untitled as well
also some rhymes for Jay z over the years (eg only christopher we acknowledge)

Op, how could Jay turn anything on time for Nas? You answer that for me, I await patiently for your logical response.

Actually it isn't, this was started by Dream Hampton via Frank Miller. BTW, this came out after the allegations of Jay Elect taking all the material from Act 1 via a poetry book by Carter whitelow. You have to tell the whole story, The Fire. There is no evidence of Jay Elect ghostwriting for Nas. All we have is Nas tossing him a bone to produce a redundant loop on his lp.

Nas’ Ghostwriting Controversy And Why It Doesn’t Matter | SPIN

''Right up there with the endless search for the gay rapper, the biggest waste-of-time hip-hop controversy involves whether an MC has or hasn’t used a ghostwriter. And apparently, even one of hip-hop culture’s finest chroniclers couldn’t resist the chance to throw someone under the bus. On Twitter yesterday, in response to a follower who asked, “Is Jay[-Z] really that concerned with losing [money] that he can’t just say “fukk my image” and make an Untitled (****** Album) like Nas?,” writer Dream Hampton dropped this bomb on the rap Internet. “I think Jay writes what he believes,” Hampton diplomatically explained, and then apropos of nothing, really, added: “Nas’ “******” album was largely written by Stic of dead prez and Jay Electronica.” According to Hampton, Nas, the best bar-for-bar rapper maybe ever, has committed hip-hop’s greatest sin.''

if this is true, the goat is no more :mjcry:
