I'm not ashamed of the music I listened to in the backpack era, but I don't listen to a lot of it anymore.
Blackalicious was a group that I can listen to in small doses, and I really didn't check for them after Blazing Arrow.
Like most groups of that era, I am almost always most fond of their earliest material.
The Melodica EP is always be fire to me, especially this joint.

Gab actually dropped a pretty decent album recently, half corny of course, but had that same melancholic warmth.
