Merging singing & rapping in a non-BONE type fashion...

As some of you know...this particular element of Drake's rap style was lifted from Z-Ro

Listen to what he says at the end of this video

And who was Z-Ro's self-professed ONLY infuence in rap?

@ 0:20

Easy to spot the influence the 90's version of K had in shaping Z-Ro's style

Let's give it up for the two men who's style of rap led to the direct creation of the biggest commercial star in rap today. :blessed:

He sampled that as a joke. It was a metaphor for all the wack rappers out there, he was clowning them.

kewl story white boy...just know the biggest star in rap today wouldn't exist without K-Rino...grandfathered the #1 element of his style which is the hallmark of his crossover appeal :umad:

No one does. I never even heard of dude before the coli.

And you also didn't know what a redbone was until thecoli...which shows how deeply immersed in caccery you are when you log off this site :mjlol:

You shoulda been banned on the spot after that comment...think any of your opinions can have any validity on a hip-hop/black forum...and not know basic, commonly-known terms black folks been using amongst eachother practically forever...

I'm trying to figure out what neighborhood exists in Phillly where people don't know what a redbone is. :skip:

K-Rino was defintely doing melodic ish way before Drake. Difference is K-Rino is actually a great artist and Drake is trash. Of course musically they sound nothing alike because Drake is terrible. Z-Ro though is ill and he does use a singing and rapping style which he does at a high level while Drake sounds cringeworthy, and obviously K-Rino is huge influence to Z-Ro.
