Did Kendrick steal Game's album concept?

Remember a few years back Game announced he has an album coming out called DOC (Diary of Compton)


It was supposed to be a concept album of a day in the life in Compton



I've always wondered if Interscope said "great idea Game, but you wont be the one executing it", then they called up Kendrick and asked him to do a concept album based on a single day in his life.

GKMC had a slightly diff concept tho.. the dualities of being a good kid in a mad city give it a little different twist from just a "day in the life".

The Game would call the album Diary Of Compton and it would have 10 tracks. There would be no track titles, just chapters (i.e. Chapter 1, Chapter 2 etc).

”If I do come back with another album, it’ll be called The D.O.C. “It’ll have 10 songs on it. It won’t have titles, it’ll just be Chapter One through Ten, and (it stands for) The Diary of Compton. “The only way that I’ll do The D.O.C. or comeback to do that album is if I can get (former NWA rapper) Ren, King Tee, (Dr.) Dre, (Ice) Cube, because I don’t want any features except people who’ve been through Compton and really made their mark. “If I can make The Diary of Compton happen, and can get Dre to executive produce that, then you’ll see a fourth album.”

Lol @ Diary of Compton even being compared to GKMC

GKMC has more concept behind it than just what is given in the title.

Not only does it reflect on the day of Kendricks day in the life of Compton but it can also be perceived as converting to a new life

It goes beyond a day in Compton

Game didn't drop that shyt cause it would have been trash and he probably made 3 songs and was like I have no chance of making a concept album

I would still love to see this album made. Quik and Dre on the beats, Cube, Ren, Tee and K Dot on the features. Hell if Game and Kenny teamed up for a joint album with this concept would be crazy.
