Did Nappy Roots ever get back at Nelly for saying he made it tight to be country and now they're all in Kentucky

Above the fray.
That jab was at record labels and execs, for cashing in on a wave that he created.
"They" all in Kentucky, was labels execs who signed, promoted acts and songs with Country up front.
Before the chart success of Country Grammar, they wouldn't have thought of those types of songs.

Nelly always talked about several labels passing on him and his group, and to see those same labels following him was funny to him.

Is this from a Beef DVD or something? I’d love to watch the whole show

Nelly was kind of trippin' with that whole making it cool to be country thing. It was kind of ignorant for him to say that as someone who admittedly was influenced by Goodie Mob who was using the word dirty before Nelly made a record. Even called each other dutty. You had Kast. In the Midwest, there was Do or Die and Crucial Conflict who were country with it before Nelly dropped.
