It really reminds me of the way wrestlers take the whisper in the wind move by Jeff Hardy..it hits them slightly on their side but it looks like it barely touches them to avoid a true injury.

I mean who really wants a fukking body falling on their heads. It wasn't a botch it was suppose to be what it was.

Road Dogg wasn't supposed to catch him exactly. He was supposed to "collide" with him to break the fall, you can do that and protect yourself at the same time. Dude looked like he froze up out there.
