Yeah but.

1. This happened in Germany
2. Less then 40 years after the Holocaust
3. Her father was a Nazi officer
4. The man who raped and murdered her daughter was Jewish

So obviously, they wasn’t going to let her walk no matter what.

And they thought it was premeditated, but I don’t think they could prove it.
