I want to have a gauge if I’m suffering from toxic masculinity. Mind lending me your thoughts on the matter?

Quick facts:

Double date.

The girl that is my date we’ve been dating for about 2 months, close to the official bf gf stage.

The other date is her friend, and her new guy she’s dating. Let’s call him Bob.

Bob is your typical hyper masculine dude, like he has something to prove.

Fast forward in the double date, a decision needed to be made for the group. I was tasked to make it, Bob bumps in and pretty much says he doesn’t have time for this and makes the decision.

What the fukk ever. I don’t let it bother me. But what bothered me, was the girl I’m with said “let Dad handle it” after he made the decision for us.

Now should I take issue with this? Or is it my toxic masculinity seeping through?

I thought for her to make such a comment was total bullshyt. But I want to see what you all think before I bring this shyt up.

So should I bring it up, or just forget about it and keep it moving?

How did she say it?

With lust or disgust?
