I was listening to the album the other day and it just didn't flow right like Lets Be Free. It had some cuts up there( Walk Like a Warrior, Hell Yeah, D.O.W.N., 50 In the Clip) but it seemed as though it didn't flow right. Like they tried too hard to appeal to the streets(Mainly possibly because 50 had blown up and the industry was going in that direction).

Not to mention it didn't seemed organized, The Remix with Jay seemed to have been just forced on there and theres also tracks that didn't even play:huhldup:

Well you've answered your own question.

The problem was more down to the direction Dead Prez took themselves. They couldn't seem to decide what sound they were going for. Plus didn't it leak months and months before hand?

I think I remember the bootleg version had a significantly different tracklist.

Saying that though the album still had some joints.

maybe its me.........but that album was put together flawlessly.......

to me that album flows perfect from song to song.......

its funny how u mentioned that album i play that sucker at least once a week all the way thru.......so nobody mentioned "W-4".......dont nobody want to run up in the white house and kick in the door......

Dog i turn that joint on and just let it play..........that album and G.Dep "Child of the Ghetto"
are the only two albums i have in rotation that i just pop in and let it roll..........
and Nipsey Hussle the Marathon........

sidenote: Every song on this album is a banger!!!!! i repeat every song on this album is banger.......Classic album no doubt........ now that new Dead Prez........u probably make a claim for that one.....info age...... but that RBG.....from intro right up to Jay-Z verse is flawless......... Jay-Z verse was the last verse on a hidden track for a reason......from what i heard.....Dead Prez didnt even know Jay got on song.........and Jay had enough to buy 3 blank slots on the CD........forcing his feature to be the last thing played.....and i loved it....
its nothing like gettin around the camel.......he have a way to find his self on classic albums on the very last song........smart move..........still wondering why Nas didnt make the album

Dead Prez dont really promote themselves like that. I hardly heard any interviews on radio. Dudes werent doing any DVD's during the 'rappers doing DVD's' era. When youtube came out Joe Buddens used it the way I expected Dead Prez to. In the end their revolution has been reduced to more talking then visible action. Can u really blame Sony for RBGz when the promo for their last album was terrible?? That RBG album was flames by the way....Only gripe I had was that 3rd version of Hell Yeah...Totaly unnneccesay. They should have replaced that with the song War Zone...If they would have ended that song with War Zone the album would have been perfect. That 3rd remix throws things off.
