even when I watch old 70's films i'm always :scusthov: at the fashion. imo every other decade of fashion aged better than the 70's

I’ve actually been thinking lately that 70s fashion was pretty cool. Regular people weren’t walking around wearing stuff like that picture you posted
depends, on average people weren't dress like funkadelic all the time, but people wore afros and bell bottoms.

You're looking at it through the lens of 2023. Back then that was considered fly. There was no "well back in the 70s..." line of thinking. A lot of those clothes came from local tailors who were in touch with fashion at the time, not 'made in china' Asos stuff.

My uncles were rocking that gear when I was like 4-5 years old. Fashion just changed REAL quick within the span of like 10 years. Went from Chuck Taylors and karate shoes to Pumas.​
