Did the Warriors really luck out by avoiding the Clippers & Spurs?

The Spurs had a chance to get the #2 seed and HC thru 2 rounds and the Pelicans dominated them the last day of the season. The Spurs had 2-1 and 3-2 leads with the next game at home and got beat 2x by the Clippers, this just wasn't their year man. They might have given them a tougher series than the Rockets did but I would still go with GSW in a series.
The way I see it, if your not good enough to make it to the WCF, then you have no right to talk about how better your are than the team that made it there (and eventual champs). That's why this whole argument is silly imo.
I mean the Spurs were the defending champs and supposed the best team, so they should've beaten anyone in front of them regardless of rounds, plus handle business against NO for proper seeding. As for the Clippers....well....

The Lakers and Spurs both played an overmatched Nets team in the finals. Even the Sixers were very overmatched. If AI doesn't go off in game one it's a sweep. Nobody says the Lakers and Spurs "got lucky".. Hell, the Blazers CHOKED away game 7 of the WCF in 2000. In 2002, you had the Kings/Refs fiasco.
Nobody says these teams got lucky. Why? Because they were loaded and had great players who proved time and time again that they were great.. It wasn't their fault the East was weak as fukk.
The Warriors did more than enough to prove themselves. They won 67 games in a stacked western conference. Let them eat. They deserve it.
