None of the kids went the way you expected.

Michael seemed like he'd keep his nose clean and became a hitter.

Dookie seemed the smartest if you ask me and became an addict.

Namond's pops was :ohhh: but he was the most sensitive and became a model student.

No one becomes a kingpin immediately. He was already a corner boy, then became a stick up kid. Maybe he becomes a soldier or hit man next. In short, he wasn't gonna just skip to becoming The Man and running shyt.

He had no choice. He murked snoop and Marlo’s people knew about his betrayal and they was going to get at him one day. He had no other crew to hook up with so he had to make a living and keep bouncing from vacant to vacant. He was in survival mode.

“What you think they gonna get a job? You think these nikkaz gonna quit this game here or go to college? Nahhhh”

I didn't watch it till the pandemic. S2 almost made me quit.

I watched it for the first time along with the Sopranos.

Sopranos felt like a guido Curb Your Enthusiasm. I laughed so much during the Sopranos. Pure comedy.

The Wire doesn’t deserve the praise it gets at all. Final season was a train wreck with the McNulty fukkery. And it’s a rough watch seeing a turn of the century show where you have officers barely getting a handle on technology and wondering what text messages are and shyt.
