They basically got jerked by the industry and couldn’t get wealthy black investors to fund the business. They ended up selling 1997 for only 4.5 million. The company that bought Network Solutions sold it in 2000 for 21 billion. Major bag fumble but understandable. Internet wasn’t what it was now is 1997. I’m sure they were trying to survive.
