Did y’all know ‘Don’t Look Any Further’ was written and produced exclusively by CACS?

I couldn’t believe it myself, until I looked at the credits… it was an ALL CAC production team :dahell:

They wrote and produced the entire song :wtf:

This is why the whole "(insert black artist/movie maker/entertainer) is for white people, not us" is one of the most short-sighted critiques

You’re gonna get a shock when you google Rod Temperton.

A white woman wrote some of the most famous songs by The Spinners, The Stylistics, and she also wrote “Greatest Love of All”

A white dude wrote a few of Michael Jackson’s hits and he was a member of Heatwave (Always and Forever)

I know who Rod Temperton is… and he co-produced a lot of MJ’s work with Quincy. And Heatwave was a mostly black band anyways. But this is some entirely different shyt

You’d think there’d be at least ONE black person who produced or wrote this song, especially considering how iconic it is. You can’t hear any remnants of blue eyed soul anywhere in the song

This gotta be some COlNTELPRO experiment :dahell:

A lot of time White people were given writing credits on records so they could get paid a little. A lot of Jewish record producers used to be given writing credits for that reason.

Another thing is that a Black man named Otis Blackwell wrote some of Elvis Pressley's biggest hits.
