Yep. This weekend i had people over for inauguration weekend. Between Friday and Monday, i spent a good $400 dollars. I know it was spent mostly on liquor, cab fare and nighlife, but i can't tell you exactly where the money went.

majority of america lives check to check. majority of the coli doesn't work, but they'd do the same, if they had jobs.

What do you consider check to check?

I make enough to pay bills, save and blow some but then I'm still straight. :skip:

I cover bills and stuff at the start of the month, put money aside for food shopping then I play a game with the cash machine where I keep taking money out till it stops giving it to me.

Same thing happens to me :snoop:

That's why I buy one materialistic object (book, game, sneaks, shirt) before I blow everything so I don't feel as bad afterwards :jawalrus:

I got no money but I got Max Payne 3, food and gas :blessed:

definitely. it always seems like this happens when im already in the red too.

you pay off something, and another needed expense or fix requires money and youre back to square one.

I had a conversation with a friend the other day, I was talking about the mentality of how someones who is 'poor' or 'low income' manages/handles/spends their money...certainly doesn't apply to all, and I'm just relating to the topic, not saying anyone is poor, but how people who don't make much money spend most of it within days of getting it, often on 'bullshyt' items....because they will never have as much money as they do in that instance. Like, they get the check for the week/bi week, and after paying a cell bill or rent, the rest is just wasted away on alcohol, food, going out, little stupid shyt...people who make decent money do it too, but it's more damaging to the poor, it's a mentality of knowing you are never going anywhere, as well as the financial reality of check to check. I wish I was better and more knowledgable about the stock market, and other financial areas, but I am good with money, spending/saving.
