I mean, in a best case scenario, you SHOULD have a high level of appreciation for your wife’s new husband, assuming your kids mainly live there since he’s supporting and raising your kids in a lot of ways. How are you not gonna respect someone who is committed to being on your kids support team??
This of course requires a mature handling of ego, and would assume the new husband is actually a stand up guy, respects you too, and you and your ex always had maintained a good respect level throughout your relationship.
