Damn, I graduated in 3.5, AND I switched majors. 
Of course that was because my last semester I took 21 hours. Its totally manageable if you say focused.

Maybe if you're not working, but it's hard to imagine otherwise. I was working 25-30 hrs/wk my last two years and there's no way I could've taken 21 credits. I'm not sure it would even have fit with my schedule.
Nah looks like its gonna be 5.5 to 6 years. These prerequisites are a mofo......
Not to mention a lot of classes simply aint there because i went jc route( cali budget cuts). I literally had a year and half where i was taking less than 6 units because of trying to add classes, the good thing is that focused as hell atm, and have no debt, plus a few scholarships and "investments" lined up

yea, finished up during the summer session with 2 more classes but got to walk with my class. crazy shyt is I came into college with 6 credits because of 2 AP courses I passed in HS but I still had to finish up in the summer because I kept withdrawing out of classes I never attended.

I don't know how science majors do this, unless you took calculus in high school and have it count toward college
i double majored in chem and math (i do well with numbers) and finished in 3 with really only 2 extra summer courses. its not bad because it overlaps with a lot of things (i was pre-med also, but thats irrelevant because its fully covered by the chem major).
i did take calc ap courses in high school, started my first fall semester of college with calc 3. all i had to take in addition was linear algebra, differential eq and something else. i took some comp sim/programing class that overlapped with the main university requirements and i think both of my p chem classes somehow counted towards math credits, it was a silly ass loophole that i think i figured out one day when i had to choose the cheapest undergraduate option.
in hindsight, all that was a mistake. college is a time to just take a lot of random classes and be in an academic environment having insignificant conversations, kinda like a less retarded higher learning thread, but with much better looking women
But at least you got it eventually. It's better than those people who drop out when they're a year or two away from the degree and are still stuck with a shytload of student loans.
I'd suggest the jc route, unless you're super focused, i know a lot of people who start off as biology majors, then end up switching to something lighter like, english,history,fiance,econ etc...
