It's composed of 2 stars like the sun orbiting each other and a small red dwarf orbiting those 2 extremely far away. Currently, the small red dwarf star is the closest of the 3 to earth.

I remember reading that multi-star star systems are about 1/2 of the systems we've observed.

Imagine all the life forms on those star planets. I believe ever star has life and we are like the miniority star system with just one star.

Sirius is three stars
Alpha Centauri
And a host of others that are binary too.

we are lucky beyond belief to have one sun and one abnormally large moon.
our moon is a fascinating anomaly and it begs the question "who built the moon?"

I saw a good documentary on this. The moon and earth are the result of a freak collisiion that was just small enough to not destroy Earth v.1 but big enough to stabilize our rotation.
