Didn't they stop showing guns/shooting in movie trailers?

I thought about this when I saw that Denzel/Wahlberg "Two-guns" trailer several weeks ago on TV. It seemed like the first time in a long time that I recalled seeing people shooting guns in a movie trailer on TV.

Am I wrong?

I didn't know it was against the rules to not show a gun or shooting in movie trailers.

I know they took a scene out of the Gangster Squad movie where people shot up a movie theater, I didn't know they took all gun scenes out of trailers though

How many recent action movies do you recall that the TV commercial trailers show them not only holding guns, but shooting them?

Those are theater trailers....the ones you see right before the feature movie shows. I'm taking about the TV approved 20-30 sec trailers.

The Django one was shown on tv :ld:
