this album caught me by surprise because I remember that lil BBE label started putting together producer compilations and I heard the Pete Rock joint first so I was expecting something in the same vein but what we got was a full fledged album not just beat tape but musically diverse and rich. Shyt goes from soul, hip hop, afrobeat down to bossanova effortlessly. I always trip out listening to such hard raps on smooth soundscapes. Love this album man. Shyt made me a believer. He wasn't just making beats he made timeless music.his best body of work
