Everything could be going good: kids get into top universities on full-ride scholarships, got your retirement and investments banked up, house paid off and you got some investment properties, dog ain't dead, parents still alive, no health problems, been made partner, and you took five strokes off your golf game. Yes doing the exact same predictable "good" things can be reptitive and boring, that's why the best thing you can be is a good man/woman with a flare for the chaotic/spontaneous.

That helps you override the need to do outlandish shyt to "spice things up". It's also why women tend to like "bad boys". Being "bad" is fun and unpredictable.

Be solid in your morals and consistent in following through with your duties, just don't ever be boring. I get away with being a good dude because I'm not boring. I don't talk boring, wear boring things, or fukk boring. Too many men are so focused on being amalgamations of what they researched to be a "good" dude that they forget to just be their fukking selves and embrace the ego that comes with loving yourself.
