I have a story about this

back when weed was medical only in cali, I used to cop off this dispensary that gave a free edible after certain amount spent.
so they gave me a 50g of some chocolate shyt. I was like nope at first but I just stashed it and forgot about it
a few weeks later I tried a third of it carefully, and nothing happened. I was like maybe it got stale or its shytty quality, cuz their complimentary house rolls were mids that never got me really zooted

so then the other day I need to smoke some shyt to go to sleep early, working from home the next day but I got this teleconference meeting at 8:30am. it's past 10pm so all weed places are closed and I ran out of flower
so Im like ok whatever 2/3 of 50mg will be nothing

I was wrong that shyt kept me up till like 2am, I was having all type of chills and whatnot

woke up at 8am, still high ASF and my meeting wasnt some shyt that you just hit the mute and play madden, I had to demo some shyt to coworkers in different parts of the world. I was like there aint a way Im demoing shyt in such state. thank god I looked at the calendar and some directors couldnt make it and moved it to another day. I just went back to sleep till like 11

I dont know, Ive had stretches in my life where Id smoke multiple times a day erryday for like a month, consuming an eigth every couple of days.
and my body still couldnt handle edibles. maybe its cuz I usually smoke sativa or maybe my body is fukked, but those things either dont hit at all or hit you like a fukking truck. the only time Ive been still high af when I woke up the next day is off edibles.

Yeah I mostly blow Indica and edibles just get me really high I aint ever panicked, but that's cause I'm used to that type of high.
