Let's not give the Dips all the credit.

Pharrell & Kanye had a big influence too as well as a general fashion trend.

completely different animal.

not the same style of dress.

and the streets didnt bang with kanye & pharrell like that.

When he released,
Harlem: Diary of a summer.
Need more proof?
Go watch,
Runs house,
When them mother points out her kids wanting to dress like jones,
Circa 2005.
Dipset set trends.

yea, i remember that.

diggy suddenly just had to change his entire wardrobe. then they got to the store and the mom was like "HE WANTS THE JIM JONES LOOK".

I had one and one of those stop snitching and one of the what's really good shirt. I kept my what's really good shirt. It's a classic.
Back around 2005-2006, I bought all the gear from,
dipsetmixtapes.com.
All the items came with free posters and CDs.
I have a purple haze poster, Santana poster,
Authentic dipset vol. 2 mixtape :krs:
The Stan was real back then.

yea, theyre the ones that popularized the "stop snitchin" shirts as well.

man, they set so many trends, its hard to even remember half this stuff.

:ohlawd:

Please correct me if Im wrong

But Post Jersey Era (won by Fabolous on the low):

Stack Bundles was clearly the trendsetter in the Rockstar/smedium t era.:salute:

Was in that Ed Hardy/True/Seven/Nudie Jeans shyt before he was signed to Jimmy an them.

Was talkin about Vinnie Styles an such on Bidding War....way before Jimmy

They just took what he did.

But Jimmy was the first mainstream rapper to do that.

yea, they say jimmy fed off of max n stack.

regardless, its still a byrd gang trend. stack was a byrd gang artist.:ehh:

whats crazy is that YEARS LATER and despite being in disarray, theyre still setting trends.

all that "slime" and "five" chit was blown up by cam & vado. i guess we'll chalk that one up to the U.N.
