Try to put aside the past, I'm more impressed with what Carlisle is doing right now with this roster full of outcasts.

he's doing a phenomenal job, but lets not give him a credit for a guy rebounding. that's just zaza putting in the effort. he was doing well with the bucks late last season too, but no one seemed to pay him any mind then.

dirk had knee surgery in august of that year and didn't return until january (keep that in mind, missed 30 games that year)

I will say that if you completely put aside their coaching resumes and only look at these 20 games...you could make a case that what carlisle is doing with dallas right now is more impressive than what pop is doing with san antonio right now
Kobe's horrible shooting has kept people from paying attention to the fact that Zaza is giving the mavs the same production that Deandre would have given them
