Dirk should go to a contender and help them out. Dallas isn't winning anything and Cuban should try to give Dirk a chance to win by going to another team and setting himself up for the future if he can get a team to give him a 1st round pick which i'm more then sure a title contending team would do. Though I know this will never happen cause of Dirk's loyalty to Cuban.

Or because he's a lights out shooter as a seven footer in a league that is dominated by P&R action playing for a coach who is as innovative as they come and puts him in the best positions to succeed.

There is absolutely no comparison between Dirk of now and Dirk from in his younger prime in terms of physical ability so he has regressed dramatically, but the shooting touch still remains true.
