NBA Vol 2 got to be one the best sports video games, PERIOD. Great play, graphics, and soundtrack. This was THE game to play in junior high school. If you didn't have this game, you were a loser, straight up
I remember when I first turned on the game system, and is the first instrumental I heard


The beat, so booming, angelic, intoxicating, so legendary. First reaction was like, who the fukk made this piff??




This came out in 2003, and this was one of the reasons I started to look back in the history of Hip Hop. Man, those were the times. Thanks Pete Rock

One thing I miss about gaming in the 2000s is the GOAT-tier soundtracks. I don't even care for Basketball but when NBA Street 2 came out, it was something special. Hearing Just Blaze, Bleek & Free during a match hit a dude in the feels.

Yea, that game had a great soundtrack, my son got put on old school hip-hop with those and the Def Jam vendetta games.

Low key EA Canada really had their hands in the culture with that and the Def Jam Fight for NY games.

Damn I miss playing NBA and NFL street. There ain't no more "fun" sports games no more. I wonder if u can get street in the App Store to play on PS4?

This game is the only reason I modded my Wii U to play all GameCube/Wii downloads. This game is an ABSOLUTE classic and half of the reason was because of the soundtrack. Still play it on my Wii U from time to time.
