I had an interesting discussion with my boy the other day.


He said he only puts lotion on the parts that are not covered by clothes. (arms, legs, face/neck)

I lotion my whole body everyday as part of my hygiene/shower routine, plus I don't wanna be ashy

He said doing that is feminine and weird, plus a waste of lotion.

I ask you all, is it stupid/weird/gay to lotion your whole body? Or do you not want dry skin regardless?


No but I really don't see this as a question, more of a hygienic convo...


I feel like I know the types of responses I'ma get, but I am still curious to see how ya'll feel about this...

Weird to me that this is something looked at as "gay" or "feminine." Like, I don't want no ashy skin regardless. I understand natural oils and whatnot, but dry skin isn't the business.
I feel like he only do stuff like that cuz he comfortable with his lady and doesn't really try hard anymore.

Maybe the pandemic helped facilitate this as well since cats ain't going out like they used to. Still think it's dumb to feel that way about keeping your skin healthy....
