The entire point of protests is to disrupt day to day life and bring attention to the issue you care about.
A protest loses all its meaning if everyone can go about their day and ignore it.
So whether you agree or disagree with a protest, arguing that "you're disrupting traffic!" is silly.
If you want people to protest where nobody will be impacted, you already have Twitter.

I feel like the only thing these disruptive protest accomplish is getting people to associate your cause with something that pissed them off.
Like if someone loses their job because they couldn't get to work. Or someone can't get medical assistance because emergency services are blocked off. That's the type of shyt that can make people say fukk you and whatever you're advocating for.

All of that was different because because that's what people were literally dealing with at home, and people had the power to change things.
Blocking traffic because some shyt that's happening in a completely different country is not the same as the civil rights movement.
There's nothing anyone in New York can do to change the fate of Palestinians, most people there already support the shyt they're advocating. All they're doing is fukking with working class people.
